Blaser owners who have been waiting to put an Aimpoint COA R on their rifles now have a direct and elegant route. The new AIMPOINT A-CUT Saddle Mount for Blaser is available, and it gives the compact COA R red dot a dedicated home on Blaser rifles.
The mount attaches straight to the Blaser saddle mount interface and is designed for quick installation and removal while maintaining point of impact. That makes it easy to swap the sight on and off a rifle without the usual worry about losing zero. The mount is manufactured by Henneberger for Aimpoint.
The COA R is a compact red dot sight developed specifically for rifles, and the Blaser mount widens its range of options. Shooters who already own AIMPOINT Micro mounts can also run the COA R on them through the AIMPOINT A-CUT adapter plate, so the sight is not limited to one mounting path.
The Blaser mount is part of a wider push around the COA and A-CUT ecosystem. A-CUT first appeared with Glock as its founding partner, and it is now available as a factory-integrated interface from a growing list of pistol makers: Glock, Springfield Armory, Smith & Wesson, CZ, Ruger, Walther Arms and Laugo Arms. Building the interface directly into the pistol slide means the AIMPOINT COA mounts without a conventional adapter plate.
