Berkley Fishing is here with a new hard bait for inshore fishing: the new LipStick Shadd, a unique hybrid design for shallow-water inshore fishing. It features a floating body paired with a precision-tuned diving lip to have the LipStick Shadd run just below the surface of the water. Helping to keep it from snagging the bottom, even when fishing in 18 inches of water or less. This combination of shallow-swimming and an aggressive action makes for a great lure for covering large grass flats where traditional divers are difficult to fish. The lure body itself has been designed to be super-durable to withstand aggressive strikes time and time again. The hooks are 4x saltwater-rated, so even when hooking into a bull redfish or 40-in snook, you shouldn’t have a problem. For the action of the bait, it can be fished with a variety of retrieves. You can twitch it for an erratic presentation, walk it subsurface, just plain swim it, or walk it across the surface with a raised rod tip.
