Bond Arms America 250th Special Edition Hand Cannon
Bond Arms is marking the America 250th birthday with a limited-edition run of their Hand Cannon derringer, and unlike most commemorative firearms that dress up a standard production gun with minimal changes, this one has actual craft behind the engraving work and comes in two distinct configurations that justify the different price points.

The Hand Cannon frame is Bond Arms’ full-size offering, chambered here for .45 Colt and .410 Bore with a 4.25-inch flat-side barrel. The frame is stainless steel, the action is single-action, and the safety is a cross-bolt design. B6 Resin extended grips handle the ergonomics. Custom commemorative anniversary engraving runs on both sides of the barrel on both versions.

The Rough Series is the more accessible option at $499. It runs Bond Arms’ clean, durable standard finish with the anniversary engraving as the primary distinguishing feature. The Black Cerakote version at $699 adds a deep black finish that makes the engraving contrast stand out differently and adds a layer of corrosion resistance on top of the stainless substrate.

The .45 Colt and .410 combination on a Bond Arms frame is a proven defensive and field pairing. The .410 with a buckshot or slug load is a legitimate short-range option, and .45 Colt gives you a hard-hitting revolver cartridge in the same package. For a limited-edition commemorative piece, it also functions as a genuinely capable tool rather than a safe queen.
