The CZ 600+ Carbine is now available in the United States. It expands the next generation of CZ bolt-action rifles with a compact, lightweight rifle chambered in .300 Blackout for the U.S. market. The Carbine pairs the proven engineering of the CZ 600+ platform with a lightweight beechwood stock and an 18.5-inch threaded barrel.
CZ describes the result as a balance of traditional rifle handling and modern performance, built for hunters, recreational shooters and anyone who wants a compact, versatile bolt-action rifle. CZ-USA Director of Marketing Chris Sprangers says it brings together much of what shooters appreciate about a traditional CZ, with the accuracy, reliability and durability owners expect. It is, in his words, "performance-built for the field."
The barrel is cold-hammer-forged, engineered for lasting accuracy and durability and backed by CZ's lifetime barrel warranty. The CZ 600+ platform also uses a user-interchangeable barrel system, which gives shooters the flexibility of CZ's latest bolt-action architecture.
The beechwood stock is manufactured in-house and carries checkering inspired by classic Brno rifles. Adjustable iron sights combine a skeletonized rear sight with a fiber-optic front sight for quick target acquisition. For optics, an integrated Picatinny rail sits on the lightweight duralumin receiver.
The feature list continues with a 10-round detachable magazine that can be locked in place for fixed-magazine operation, and a user-adjustable trigger with four pull-weight settings. CZ's controlled-round feeding and a short ejector system provide smooth, reliable cycling in a variety of shooting positions. The patented S.E.A. safety system, which stands for Silent, Ergonomic and Ambidextrous, sits directly within the stock for intuitive operation from either side of the rifle.
With compact dimensions, lightweight construction and the .300 Blackout chambering, the CZ 600+ Carbine gives U.S. shooters a combination of traditional CZ character and the capabilities of the latest 600+ platform.
