Galco has added the Glock 21 to the fit list for its Combat Master 2.0, the updated take on the company's long-running pancake-style OWB belt holster. According to Galco's release, the new offering works with or without a carry optic, which is the headline for anyone running a slide-mounted dot on a full-size .45.
Optic-Cut Leather
The Combat Master 2.0 is an optic-cut leather holster, with the body cut to clear most carry-style optics while still working fine with iron-sighted pistols. Galco says the optic cutaway lets the pistol clear leather faster and makes for a quicker, smoother draw, which it notes is a benefit for shorter-waisted shooters.
Each holster is hand-molded by Galco's craftsmen to a specific handgun, which the company credits for both the retention and the fit. Construction is premium steerhide with double-stitched seams.
Carry Details
This is a traditional high-riding pancake design, with a belt slot flanking each side of the holster to draw the gun tight against the body for concealment. Those twin slots also spread out the pistol's weight and take belts up to 1 3/4" wide.
The holster runs an open top for a full firing-grip draw, and a raised sweat guard keeps the pistol off the wearer's body and keeps perspiration off the pistol.
Availability
Galco lists the Glock 21 fit as now available. Price was not listed in the release, and no color or hand options were given.
