PSA's retro brand Harrington & Richardson is now shipping one of the new models we saw at SHOT Show 2026. The Model 606 is a faithful recreation of one of the first M16-based squad automatic weapons. It also seems like an ideal candidate for a forced reset trigger.

The Model 606 was a development of the early M-16. Unlike those early guns, the 606 used a heavy barrel contour to cope with the firing schedule of a light machine gun. It also incorporated the M2 folding bipod found on the M-14. Even with that bipod and the heavier barrel, the Model 606 still only weighs nine pounds.
The H&R Model 606 retails for $1,249 and is in stock now.
