Millennium Marine TP-200-00 Fixed Transducer Pole for Live Sonar
Live sonar changed how a lot of us fish, and it lives or dies on how steady the transducer sits. Millennium Marine introduced the TP-200-00 Fixed Transducer Pole at ICAST earlier this month, built specifically to give live-sonar transducers a stable, adjustable platform.
Mount a live-sonar transducer to the pole and you can sweep it across different areas of the water, tracking fish, reading habitat, and watching bait activity in real time. The TP-200-00 works in both freshwater and saltwater, which is where the material choices earn their keep. Millennium went with a marine-grade two-section design, using a 46-inch aluminum midsection over a 20-inch PVC bottom section for a mix of strength and give.

The 90-degree locking positions are the feature that separates this from a pole that just spins freely. You can index the transducer exactly where you want it and trust it to stay put while you fish. The multi-material construction is designed to take a knock and spring back rather than staying bent, which protects the pricey transducer hanging off the end.
Millennium hasn’t announced pricing on the TP-200-00 yet. The company’s existing breakaway transducer pole gives a rough reference point, but this is a different fixed design, so wait on Millennium or check with dealers for confirmed MSRP as it reaches shelves.
For live-sonar users, the transducer mount is not an accessory, it is the difference between a clean picture and a useless one. A dedicated pole built around that job is an easy thing to appreciate.
