Waffen Tactical has some new scope mount options for the 1903 Springfield and M1 Garand rifles. These mounts require no drilling or alteration to these historical firearms. Keep reading for all the details.

Milsurp @ TFB:

The M1 Garand mount uses the rear sight base as the mounting point. It replaces the rear sight and provides a mounting point offset to the left of the receiver. The Garand is a tough gun to mount optics on because it requires a clear path above the receiver for the 8-round clips the gun feeds from. This Waffen mount takes inspiration from the M-1C and M-1D sniper variants that mounted the scope just off the side of the receiver. The Garand mount comes with either 1-inch or 26mm rings to match to your scope. It retails for $250 and is available for backorder now.

There are two mount options for the 1903 Springfield. Note that these are for the original 1903 Springfield, not the 1903A3 model. These mounts attach to the leaf sight base on the front of the 1903 receiver, which the 1903A3 does not have. One version of the mount is set up for mounting the long Unertl-style scopes common in the early 1900s. This mount, matched up with a Hi-Lux USMC 8X scope, would be an easy way to enjoy a 1903A1 sniper-ish build. This mount retails for $150.

The other option is for more traditional scope types. I t is a reverse cantilever that clamps to the front sight base and extends back over the receiver. This mount comes with 1-inch or 26mm ring options. It retails for $250. All three of these mount options are available for backorder now, with anticipated delivery in 3 to 4 weeks.
