Ol’ Man Outdoors Rolls Out Three New Hub Blinds for 2026

By Sam.S •

Ol’ Man built its name on ladder stands and climbers, and the company’s patented Jaw & Truss system is still what most hunters picture when they hear the name. For 2026, the Pearl, Mississippi-based brand (part of Millennium Outdoors) is putting more weight behind ground hunting with three hub-style blinds: the Buck Shot, the Carnivore 270, and the Bounty Hunter 270.

The Buck Shot is the simple one. It’s a five-hub, two-person blind offered in Realtree APX or Mossy Oak Bottomland, with horizontal shoot-through mesh windows on silent slide adjusters. At 14 lbs., it’s also the lightest of the three, and it ships with a backpack carry bag, stakes, and tie-down ropes.

The Carnivore 270 is the flagship and the most feature-heavy blind in the lineup. Its seven windows use one-way, see-through mesh and break down into two large horizontal windows for gun hunting, four vertical windows for archers, and a triangular center window. Every window and the doorway close with magnets, hooks, or silent sliders, so there isn’t a zipper or strip of Velcro anywhere on it. The exterior is 210D Realtree Excape over a Shadow Block interior meant to hide movement during the draw. Ol’ Man also built in a white and green LED lighting system for setting up in the dark, along with a ceiling cargo net, bow hook, brush loops, and a blind skirt.

The Bounty Hunter 270 splits the difference. It keeps the 270-degree one-way viewing and quiet slide-open windows but drops the lighting and extras for a lighter, more portable package aimed at hunters packing into remote spots.

  • Buck Shot: 1-2 hunters, 65″ x 65″ footprint, 69″ hub-to-hub, 66″ center height, 14 lbs., packs to 8″ x 8″ x 42″, MSRP $139.99
  • Carnivore 270: Up to 3 hunters, 62″ x 62″ footprint, 78″ hub-to-hub, 70″ interior height, 20 lbs., packs to 8″ x 8″ x 44″, MSRP $234.99
  • Bounty Hunter 270: 3 hunters, 58″ x 58″ footprint, 72″ hub-to-hub, 68″ interior height, 18 lbs., packs to 8″ x 8″ x 44″, MSRP $216.99

The numbers are worth a closer look. The Buck Shot actually has the biggest footprint of the three, but it’s the two-person model. The Carnivore sits on a smaller footprint and still has the widest hub-to-hub measurement at 78″, which is where the usable room is. Hub blinds bow outward at elbow and shoulder height, so hub-to-hub width tells you more about drawing a bow or swinging a rifle than the floor dimensions do. Ol’ Man’s own product page rates the Carnivore for four people, though the company’s release lists it at three, and three is the more realistic number with gear and chairs inside.

All three are available now through Ol’ Man dealers, and the Buck Shot gives first-time ground hunters a two-person blind for well under $150.
