POF-USA Rogue 250: A Commemorative Built to Shoot

America's 250th anniversary has inspired countless tributes, most of them unfortunately destined for dusty shelves. POF-USA's Rogue 250 is different, a limited-edition pistol that actually exists to be used, not just admired. Built on the company's battle-tested direct-impingement Rogue platform and finished in an exclusive FS Sabre Sand and Blue Titanium Cerakote by CGC Cerakote, the Rogue 250 manages the rare feat of combining collector appeal with genuine capability. That's harder to pull off than it sounds.

The foundation is unsurprising if you know POF-USA's engineering. A 12.5-inch 416R stainless barrel in .308 Winchester feeds a proven direct-impingement system built around the company's KeyLock bolt carrier group with roller cam pin. The mid-length gas system uses POF's Dictator adjustable gas block, a 9-position regulator that lets you dial in pressures across the operating envelope, a feature worth its weight when you're running suppressed or dealing with ammunition variance. For a commemorative piece, POF didn't mail it in on the ergonomics either. You get an oversized integrated trigger guard, ambidextrous controls front and rear, and a nickel-plated flat-faced trigger tuned to a 3.5-pound break.

The 11-inch Renegade rail sits atop an aluminum forged upper and lower receiver, and the whole package weighs 6.1 pounds. That's respectably light for a .308 pistol, especially one built to last. The PST-QD muzzle brake handles recoil management as a standalone and serves as the quick-disconnect mount point for POF's suppressor ecosystem.
