A lever gun with M-LOK slots, a one-piece Picatinny rail and a suppressor-ready barrel is not what most people picture when they hear "lever action," but that is exactly what Savage Arms has built. The new REVEL Tactical joins the REVEL Classic and REVEL DLX as the third member of the series, and it keeps the smooth cycling of a lever action while adding the accessory-ready features modern shooters ask for.
Savage REVEL Tactical: A Threaded, M-LOK Lever Gun in Three Rimfires
The rifle is built around an MDT Tactical stock with heavy grip touchpoints and a redesigned pistol grip for improved handling. The rigid one-piece Picatinny rail makes mounting an optic simple. A clip-on cheek riser gives interchangeable comb height, so the stock can fit a wide range of shooters and optic heights. Up front, M-LOK slots on the fore end add accessory mounting options.
The barrel is 18 inches long with a medium profile and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle, ready for a suppressor or another muzzle device. Adjustable iron sights with a hooded front sight give fast, reliable target acquisition right out of the box. The takedown design is simple, which makes field maintenance and transport easier.
Savage sees the REVEL Tactical as a rifle for everything from range days to small-game hunting and recreational shooting. Three rimfire chamberings are offered: .22 LR with a 12-round capacity, and .22 WMR and .17 HMR with 9 rounds each.
All three have a black receiver, a black synthetic stock and a full-size build. Prices are $629 for the .22 LR and $659 for the .22 WMR and .17 HMR.
