SIG Sauer x GATORZ Rose Wraith Sunglasses Now Available

The SIG Sauer x GATORZ collaboration has a new addition, and this one leans into the ROSE line that has been building out the collection over the past couple years. The Rose Wraith just dropped and brings the Wraith frame into the ROSE family with custom engravings, smoke polarized lenses, and the same American-made aluminum construction the rest of the SIG x GATORZ lineup is built on.

The Wraith frame itself is a rounded, unisex design that sits somewhere between a lifestyle sunglass and a legitimate field-capable pair of eye pro. GATORZ builds it from CNC-machined aluminum, which gives it a weight and feel that plastic frames cannot match. The Rose Wraith version adds custom ROSE by SIG Sauer engravings and rose accents on the temples, so it has a distinct look without going overboard on the cosmetics.

The OPz lens designation is worth understanding. Optimized Polarized lenses are tuned to maintain visibility of digital screens while still cutting glare, which matters if you are running a phone or tablet for navigation, range data, or any other purpose. Standard polarized lenses can make screens nearly unreadable depending on the angle. That is a practical distinction, not just a marketing line.

The included pouch and case is a nice touch at this price point. A lot of eyewear at $229 ships in a soft bag and calls it a day. Getting a hard case alongside the bag is the right move for anything you are going to carry in a range bag or pack.
