A terrifying situation at a local gas station in Riverton, Utah, was brought to a swift end when an armed, unaffiliated private citizen deployed lethal force to neutralize a suspect wielding a shotgun. Riverton Public Information Officer Nate Slack confirmed that no law enforcement officers discharged their weapons, no innocent bystanders or employees were struck by gunfire, and the suspect died from his injuries outside the store.
