Hurricane season has reached the firearms industry, and it is carrying a US Palm logo. Long known for AK pistol grips, magazines and soft goods, US Palm is now entering the rifle and suppressor markets with a two-part launch: the CAT 4 Storm series of rifles and the EOS series of suppressors. Both debuted at SHOT Show 2026 in Las Vegas, and both are now available.
The Storm CAT 4 is billed as a duty-ready rifle designed for maximum performance and durability. Accuracy gets a boost from the Mono-Loc system, and the upper is a rugged design with steel-reinforced wear points.
The barrel is a 16-inch cold hammer forged unit, and a Hiperfire EDT Designated Marksman Trigger handles the fire control. At the muzzle sits the US Palm Hurricane, a hybrid flash hider and compensator. A pistol configuration is offered too, with an 11.5-inch barrel and a pistol brace. Both versions have an MSRP of $1,399.99. An interesting detail is that the caliber isn’t mentioned anywhere on the product page, but I’m going with a guess that it’s chambered in 5.56.
The suppressor line takes its name from the calmest part of a hurricane, the Eye of the Storm. EOS launches with four models: the EOS-AK, EOS-556, EOS-30 and EOS-30Ti. All are 3D printed, and three of them are Inconel designs optimized for maximum suppression with minimal added weight and no sacrifice in durability. All four are low back pressure designs, which reduces blowback and eases the stress on the host firearm, extending its service life. US Palm positions the line as class-leading performance at a competitive price.
