Vertx Urban Ghost 36L Weekender, DOPP Kit & Utility Pouch
Vertx has expanded the Urban Ghost line with three new pieces aimed at people who travel armed and would rather not announce it at the gate. The headliner is the Urban Ghost 36L Weekender Travel Bag, joined by a matching DOPP kit and utility pouch.
The 36L Weekender is sized to meet most airline carry-on requirements, which is the entire point. Vertx built it around 48 to 72 hour trips where you want one bag instead of three. The exterior is lightweight ripstop that cleans up easily and holds up to getting thrown around by baggage handlers and overhead bins.

The CCW compartment sits against the back panel, loop-lined so you can position a holster wherever it works for you. The Rapid Access Half-Pull tab clips onto whichever zipper pull you prefer, so the opening direction matches your draw rather than the other way around. Locking YKK zippers secure both that compartment and the main storage area.
That laptop sleeve doing double duty as an armor panel pocket is a nice touch. It’s a full-size compartment with top-zip access, so a 15-inch machine fits without a fight and a compatible soft panel drops in just as easily.
The Urban Ghost DOPP Kit handles toiletries and medical supplies with multiple interior compartments and elastic retention, and it packs down inside the Weekender. The Urban Ghost Utility Pouch opens clamshell style for chargers, cables, batteries, and first aid gear, and it attaches to loop-lined bags if you want it mounted rather than loose.
Vertx didn’t release pricing on any of the three pieces with the announcement, so MSRP is TBA for now. All three carry the same low-profile styling the Urban Ghost line has run since launch, which reads as luggage rather than tactical gear.
