Obviously none of this replaces a good gunsmith fit, but a drop-in walnut upgrade is a lot more accessible than custom stock work and its something more at my level of patience and skill. If you’re like me, this is a way to get a nicer-shooting gun without sending it out for months. The kit format matters here too. Buyers can pick up just the stock, just the forend, or the full set, which is useful if you already like your factory forend but want the reduced length-of-pull and ventilated recoil pad on the buttstock side. At $439 for the complete kit, it’s a meaningful investment in a gun you probably already trust, and one that’s built to be handed down rather than replaced. WOOX builds these in Italy and finishes them in the US.
