XS Sights Adds Glock Gen6 ACRO Plate and R3D 2.0 for 43X/48
Glock’s Gen6 pistols are on the street, and the aftermarket is catching up. XS Sights has two new Glock products out this month: an ACRO footprint optic plate for Gen6 pistols and R3D 2.0 night sights for the Glock 43X and 48 COA models.
The Gen6 plate has been a while coming. XS showed a prototype at SHOT Show back in January and had it on display again at the NRA Annual Meeting in April. It follows the company’s Glock MOS optic plates released in March 2025, and the new plate carries over the same recipe: CNC-machined steel, a BlackNitride finish for corrosion resistance, and what XS says is 30% more thread engagement to keep the optic from shifting under recoil.
The R3D 2.0 is XS’s defensive night sight set, a three-dot notch-and-post setup. The front sight uses a green or orange Glow Dot with tritium in the center, which makes it larger and brighter than the two rear tritium dots. The idea is to pull your eye to the front sight first. A wide rear notch gives more light around the post for faster indexing.
- Gen6 ACRO Optic Plate: ACRO footprint, CNC-machined steel, BlackNitride finish
- Gen6 Plate MSRP: $82.99
- R3D 2.0 Fitment: Glock 43X/48 COA
- R3D 2.0 Front Sight: Green or orange Glow Dot with tritium center
- R3D 2.0 Rear Sight: Wide notch, two tritium dots
- R3D 2.0 MSRP: $152.99
The timing lines up with XS’s “Glocktober” sale, which runs through October 31. During the sale, XS is taking 20% off all Glock products purchased directly from its website. Orders over $175 also get a free optic plate, with a choice of the Glock MOS ACRO, Glock MOS RMR, or the new Gen6 ACRO plate. A set of R3D 2.0 sights plus a plate gets you over that threshold before the discount, so anyone setting up a 43X or 48 and a Gen6 at the same time has a reason to do it this month.
The $82.99 price on the Gen6 plate matches what XS charges for its MOS plates, so there’s no Gen6 premium baked in. Both products are available now, and Glocktober pricing ends October 31.
