ZEISS Conquest Apia Spotting Scopes Get Straight Models, More Zoom

With the ZEISS Conquest Apia 65A, hunters and shooters have had a way to put their hands on ZEISS’ top tier of quality and performance in a compact form at a price that is not premium. The latest in the Conquest Apia range build on that with new models offering greater magnification and eyepiece choices for a wider array of applications and tastes.

More Scopes @ AO:

Hunters making use of their time in the field to glass over woodlines and terrain or down into canyons will find the straight eyepiece on the new ZEISS Conquest Apia 65S a comfort. It holds the scope in line with the eye and expedites target acquisition when one has to move from the spotter to the riflescope. With 20-50x magnification the straight eyepiece is also more accommodating for window mounts and needs a slimmer tripod foot, which is an advantage for transport and storage when pack room is limited.

With the ZEISS Conquest Apia 85A, a 24-60x magnification range makes it possible to make out finer detail at very long range. The 85 mm objective lens is of a size that puts more light to work, giving better performance at first and last light when the game is at its most active. As with the ZEISS Conquest Apia 65, the new ZEISS Conquest Apia 85 can be had in a straight or angled eyepiece.

The entire ZEISS Conquest Apia line is made for extended days out in the field. No matter the configuration or magnification, it is easy to handle and adjust with or without gloves and will put up the same kind of fine image clarity and light-gathering ability one expects from the ZEISS name.

“Hunters have to go where the game is, and getting there often requires cutting the weight and size of packs. In the past, cutting down the size and weight of a spotting scope also meant cutting back on quality and performance,” said Kyle Brown, director of marketing and product for ZEISS Outdoor Products by VALYRA. “Both the ZEISS Conquest Apia 65 and 85 options are compact for their magnification range and extremely durable for their weight. The mobility of the ZEISS Conquest Apia line won’t hold hunters back, and the performance will make hunters glad they brought it with them.”

Every ZEISS Conquest Apia spotting scope in the line can be used with the complete array of new and old ZEISS accessories. This includes the new stay-on case, eyepieces with MOA or MRAD reticles, the well-liked magnetic digiscoping adaptor system and the ZEISS Pro-Series Tripod Kits.

In early November 2026, the straight version of the ZEISS Conquest Apia 65 and the angled 85 model will be on offer at some retailers. The straight 85, as well as the new stay-on cases and the specialized reticle eyepieces, are due to appear in late November 2026. For the ZEISS Conquest Apia 65 angled, which made its debut in the spring of 2026, it is already in stock at authorized dealers across the country.
